Consultation on the interior design of a new house 

A customer from Chinese consulted with us about decorating his new house with Japanese crafts items. We asked about his budget and requests and made recommendations for him. 

After several exchanges, the customer selected four pieces: a teapot of Nambu ironware, sake cups of Osaka naniwa pewterware, a flower vase of Kasama ware, and a folding screen of Aizu lacquerware.   

In this article, we would like to introduce works purchased and customer‘s feedback. 

Teapot of Nambu ironware 

The teapot he purchased is available in four colors: copper black, rose pink, Japan blue, and black, and he chose rose pink. 

This one is brightly colored, so it can be used as an interior decoration to accent the room.

Sake cups of Osaka naniwa pewterware

These sake cups are designed in the motif of Mt. Fuji, and are available in five colors, red, blue, white, yellow and black. The customer bought them in all colors. 

When the sake cups are placed upside down, they show the shape of Mt. Fuji. You can enjoy its goodness by using it as interior decoration.

Flower vase of Kasama ware 

This vase has a very impactful and unique pattern. 

From the front, it looks round, but from another angle, you can see that it has an unexpected shape. Not only the pattern but also the shape is unique and attractive.

Folding screen of Aizu lacquerware 

This folding screen depicts cherry blossoms in the mountains. A folding screen is used to divide a room or for decoration. This piece is a small size folding screen for decoration.
