
Shuji Haneishi羽石修二
1962- Traditional Craftsman
HANEISHI produces works using an original clay mix, which he produces by mixing granulated and fine white clay, a small quantity of red clay, and porcelain clay. He produces some works made of pure porcelain clay as well. His uses firewood from deciduous tree wood, carefully split and dried for 2 years as fuel for the kiln, and fires his works for about 5 days.
