This Arita ware coffee cup and saucer features the vivid glaze colors distinctive to Shin-emon Kiln.

The carefully finished rim feels comfortable on the lips and reflects the maker's attention to detail. Combining tradition with the artist's individual sensibility, it is a cup and saucer with depth and character.

As well as serving coffee, it can be enjoyed as a simple decorative accent on a shelf or table, adding color to everyday moments.

"Silk Road" is a modern design that contrasts white porcelain with Shin-emon Kiln's signature "Cinnabar Red" (Shinsha) copper-red glaze. It depicts the horizon stretching across the deserts of the Silk Road.

It comes with a paulownia wood box, making it a thoughtful gift for someone special.
