This small kyusu teapot expresses clouds over a mountain and lightning bolts running through it. There is an old saying that a year with many thunderstorms will bring a good harvest, and lightning is a motif that represents good fortune. This is a product that was designed by the first generation and is still loved today.
Each teapot is individually colored with lacquer, and the more you use it, the more it becomes shiny and rich in flavor.
The inside is not enameled either, but is finished with lacquer coloring. *A tea strainer is included.
