Tendou Eguchi江口天童
1952- Traditional Craftsman
The beauty of Arita porcelain has captivated people worldwide for 400 years. European royalty, aristocrats, and collectors from various countries eagerly competed to acquire it as a symbol of prestige. Arita porcelain is truly a treasure of Japan, built upon the relentless efforts and dedication of countless unnamed potters throughout their lifetimes. I am deeply committed to preserving this tradition and striving for further progress, confronting the clay, fire, and brush with a pure heart every day.
