A tea caddy combining plain cherry bark with mother-of-pearl cherry blossoms that appear to dance in the air — a brilliant and eye-catching finish of Kabazaiku, Akita cherry bark work. Size φ8.3 × 12 cm, holds about 150 g of green tea. Suitable for daily use or as a refined first piece.
The mountain cherry bark, a “breathing material,” balances humidity naturally, minimizing condensation and preserving tea or coffee beans in near-natural condition. Unlike metal, it never rusts, ensuring long-lasting comfort in use.
Each piece is handmade by skilled artisans, radiating the warmth unique to Kabazaiku, and bringing gentle richness to everyday life through the seasons.
