Against the artist's own beautiful blue-green background, the painting depicts skunk cabbage, a pretty and pure wild flower that blooms by the water, a flying kingfisher, which is also called "jewel of the waterside". The work is full of dignity, thanks to the "nuriume" technique, in which the paints (except red) are applied without leaving any blank space on the base.
