This is a Nezumi shino flower pot. The unique mogusa clay of Mino ware is generously covered with feldspar glaze. The use of oniita mud underneath the glaze and the bold layering of glaze on top of it creates a powerful view that shows various expressions depending on the angle of view even though it is a large piece. The works are slowly fired in an old-style wood-fired kiln over a period of one week, and you can enjoy the varied expressions of each piece.
*Oniita: A mineral containing iron used in iron painting, decorative clay, iron glaze, and other ceramic decorations.This product is packaged in a paulownia box. It takes about two weeks from the time you place your order to the time of shipping.
