The "noshi" is a traditional Japanese paper lantern that has been considered a symbol of good luck since ancient times, and has become an essential part of the celebration. The overlaid noshi is designed with seasonal flowers, making it a very elegant and gorgeous jar. The gilded portions of the urn are finished in a way that gives it a three-dimensional appearance, showing the attention to detail of the craftsmen. The traditional craftsman Eguchi Tendo made each brush stroke with great care.
