A tea caddy adorned with cherry blossom motifs in cherry bark and scattered mother-of-pearl inlay (Kabazaiku, Akita cherry bark work). The design balances calm natural tones with a gentle touch of brilliance, making it suitable for both everyday use and as a refined gift. Size φ8.3 × 9 cm, holds about 100 g of green tea.
Crafted from mountain cherry bark, a “breathing material” that naturally adjusts humidity and prevents condensation, it preserves tea leaves or coffee beans in a fresh, near-natural state. Unlike metal containers, it does not rust and offers long-lasting reliability.
Each piece is carefully handmade by artisans, conveying the gentle warmth characteristic of Kabazaiku. Through the seasons, it brings quiet richness to everyday life.
