This plate can be used as a water basin for flowers, as a plate for main dishes, or as a tray to organize small plates for tea sweets or tea utensils. It is shaped by potter's wheel and then white slip is applied, fired unglazed, and then glazed and fired again. After that, black and red overglaze pigments are applied, and the firing process is repeated to express a unique texture. This is a vessel suitable for special occasions.
