Oigawa Togishi is for Shimada's "Oigawa Suruki", which is one before, and depicts how it crosses the Kanaya side of Totomi. The Makinohara Plateau in the distance of this figure is a famous tea plantation where Basho also wrote a phrase. Kanaya no Yado can be seen on the side of the plateau.
