It is the only one in the collection that depicts the climbing of Mt. Fuji. The opening of Mt. Fuji is from June 1st every year, and here it is depicted that men are doing "Ohachi-miri" while wearing a Kongo-zue. It can be seen that many climbers are gathering in Iwamuro. From this figure, Hokusai himself is so descriptive that he may have actually experienced mountain climbing, but the fog that erupts from the rock surface makes the screen even more realistic.
