This Arita ware sake warmer set pairs bright white porcelain with one tokkuri sake flask and two sake cups. Its two-part construction consists of an inner flask for sake and an outer vessel for warm or cold water, allowing the sake to be warmed or cooled indirectly by the water. The gently rounded outer vessel fits comfortably in the hand, while the narrow-necked flask is easy to pour from and helps retain the sake's aroma. The flask can also serve as a small pitcher for dashi broth or sauces.

A traditional ichimatsu checkerboard pattern decorates the body, creating a pleasing rhythm of blue and white squares. This auspicious pattern symbolizes prosperity and continuity. Underglaze painting with cobalt pigment produces a deep blue, softened by the tonal variations and brushwork of hand painting. The precision of the geometric pattern harmonizes with the warmth of hand craftsmanship. Presented in a wooden box, this set is suitable for everyday use or as a gift.
