Items of Takumi Japan are carefully finished by hand, and therefore require a little time before shipment. Except for made-to-order items or items that need to be reproduced after going out of stock, orders are usually shipped within 7 business days after payment is completed.

A tea caddy made from plain cherry bark (Kabazaiku, Akita cherry bark work). Its calm, natural grain gives it a timeless appeal and makes it a long-loved classic. Size φ8.3 × 12 cm, holds about 150 g of green tea. A practical piece suitable both for daily use and for first-time users.

The mountain cherry bark is known as a “breathing material,” gently regulating humidity without trapping excess moisture. This helps prevent condensation and keeps tea leaves or coffee beans naturally fresh. Unlike metal containers, it will never rust and can be enjoyed safely for many years.

Each tea caddy is carefully handcrafted by artisans, carrying the gentle warmth unique to Kabazaiku. It will enrich your everyday moments through the changing seasons.
