A wooden plate that highlights the natural grain of the wood, accented with an “Oborozuki” moon rendered in genuine gold leaf. Against the dark wood surface, the gold moon creates a quiet sense of depth, adding understated elegance to both Japanese and Western table settings.
The plate is thinly carved by an experienced woodworker and finished with a coating that enhances the wood’s expression. The moon, created solely with gold leaf, carries a soft gradation characteristic of the artisan’s technique.
